Quartz Notes is the durable knowledge layer.

It is built from a curated Quartz source directory and deployed as static files on digitalocean-sg.

Safety model

  • The raw Obsidian vault is not used as the public source root.
  • Only curated notes are copied into the Quartz source.
  • Quartz uses an explicit publish: true publication gate.
  • Draft leak checks are part of deployment verification.

Relationship to Docs

Quartz is best for connected notes and evergreen ideas. Starlight Docs is better for procedures, handbooks, runbooks, and project references that need a stable hierarchy.
